Self-serving? What would that be? To look good? I don't really care if they were trying to impress some chick somewhere, it's going to be helping millions of people, Gates and Buffet have given away a ridiculous amount and both have obligated money to be given away after they're gone.
And as I've said, the only one I really have mentioned was the Waltons, they didn't earn a dime...they won the genetic lottery. Of course they don't have to, no one is arguing they do, but generosity is a virtue of a good human-being. Not giving any money to help other when you have that many billions is nothing but selfish, foolish to claim otherwise, but oh well.
But you don't know that they do not have something in a will to contribute to someplace like St. Judes or anything like that. You really cannot persecute someone just because you don't know. Alot of these folks don't let people know where their fortunes go after their passing, or what they may give away while they are alive.
